Culinary Dictionary: Letter Q
Here for a quick hello and short Terminology Thursday. Only four terms this week. I will be back tomorrow with a delicious Moroccan recipe—a true staple of Moroccan cuisine. Guesses, anyone?
Quadrillage: Char grids marked on food during grilling.
Quahog: Native American name for New England hard-shelled clams {makes me think of Family Guy:-)}
Quetsch: Eau de vie made from plums of the same name (pronounced “ketsh”)
Quenelles: 1. Poached oval-shaped fish, chicken or beef patties 2. Food served in an oval shape using two spoons such as ice cream quenelles.
Letters A, B, C, D, E , F, G, H , I , J, K, L , M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y and Z.

Il faut deviner quel sera la base de ton plat marocain à partir des mots proposés????
je dirai des quenelles de poisson ou de viande en tajine (peut-être auront-elles une forme de boulette allongée).

I'm excited for Moroccan food! Q is a hard letter but you found some good ones…I've actually never heard of any of them before!
