Pumpkin Smoothie
I just made pumpkin smoothie this afternoon. Rarely do my recipes make it online the same day. I couldn’t wait to post it. It couldn’t wait either. So you could say this smoothie is super fast, doesn’t waste any time and is anxious to go public. I think it may be fearful it wouldn’t make it in time for pumpkin season. After all that’s when she has the most chances to be made; that’s when she gets to be the guest of honor; that’s when all eyes are on her.
Make this smoothie for breakfast. Give yourself the treatment of a pumpkin in Fall :) Take center stage in your life. Treat yourself to something beautiful or delicious everyday.
Have a great night! It’s starry and bright where I am. How glorious is your night?
Pumpkin Smoothie Recipe
1 serving
1/2 cup pure pumpkin purée or chopped fresh pumpkin
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup crushed ice
1/4 cup apple juice or cider (optional)
2 tablespoons honey (or brown sugar, to taste)
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Dash ground nutmeg
Blend all the ingredients on high in an electric blender. Enjoy!

All I can say is, "Why didn't I think of that before!!!??" What an excellent idea! I'm always looking for more ways to use pumpkin in a low-fat way when Fall comes around!

That's a great idea! I'll have to make one. I have a little bit of pumpkin leftover that is just the right amount.

Bonjour Nisrine, Yippee, it's pumpkin season! And all the other great Autumn foods… The pictures are really lovely and vibrant and that smoothie sounds yum. I usually make pumpkin soup and pie after carving them… Hope you have a great week, Bisous & Love from London, Carole x
