The Look
I’ve been redesigning the blog for the past several weeks. It has been keeping me busy, making my recipe posts fewer than usual. Designing a blog is way more work than it appears. But the new look and functionality of the site were well worth the trouble and I would do it all over again if I had to.
Here is a retro peek at Dinners & Dreams’ previous looks:
Even though “Recipes. People. Places” is not in the current logo, it is still pretty much what this blog is all about. Good recipes, good people and inspiring places will always be at the heart of what drives each and every post.
A few changes! The Marrakesh Express website will no longer be available and neither will the email address associated with it, so if you’ve been emailing me there, please switch to this address from now on. Also, take a look at the new community tab where I’ll be featuring Moroccan recipes from other sites. If you’re a blogger, I’d love for you to share your Moroccan-inspired recipes there.
I will be back with a recipe soon. It’s a baked dessert with seasonal fruit and spice. I can’t wait to tell you more about it.

I’m also wanting to update my design, it’s so overwhelming deciding who to have work with you as a designer. I am still in that stage. Love your design, great job!

Hey, I just realized that my RSS hasn’t been pulling your latest posts since the redesign, and I checked and saw that your current RSS address is different than what I had saved. So …. if you’ve noticed that a chunk of your readership disappeared, maybe this is why. Maybe there’s a plugin to help you fix it?

Liz, thank you for letting me know. I will fix the RSS soon.

Love the new look. We’re STILL working on ours – you’re right, it takes such a long time. So much to take into consideration that we didn’t think about when we started.
