  • Special mini bowl (with lid) on top of the main one
  • The slicing disc is adjustable
  • 3 different power settings
  • 11.8 inches long, 10.8 wide, and 16.6 high

Now we have some raw material to work with and filter it through all those things users had to say after putting it to the test. So, let’s do it.

Positive User Reviews

This is what we would usually call the PROs section. So, time to see the bright side of this food processor:

  • I just love this kitchen machine! It very user-friendly and no trouble to clean. The motor is super strong, and I’m always looking for new stuff to shred, chop, or grate. It’s so much better than my old Cuisinart food processor, and I recommend it to everyone
  • It’s a high-quality product, and a great addition to my kitchen machinery. Very easy to operate and the cup is just the perfect size. I also like the mini bowl a lot, since it takes care of the smaller tasks without having to use the main one. I use it almost daily for all kinds of jobs, and it chops everything without any hesitation. I’m very happy with this buy, especially since I got a pretty neat discount. Well worth the money invested
  • This food processor has been a great hit for my family. It does everything I need it to without any problems, and I like how easy it is to change its settings. I especially enjoy the option of adjusting the thickness of the slices. No problems whatsoever setting it up, and the cleaning is very easy too, just rinse it out with some soapy water ad you’re good to go. My family and I are very satisfied with this product and if you’re looking for a high-quality food processor you can give this one a go without a second thought
  • It serves me great for making hummus. I also tend to make my own coconut butter and almond milk, and this little guy saves me a lot of time and trouble. It’s very powerful, so it does everything without any trouble, and I don’t need to spend ages cleaning it afterward. And you can change the cut size by simply turning the dial, which is a great option in my opinion. I would definitely buy this product all over again, and you should too
  • The instruction manual was very easy to understand, and the initial assembly went without a hitch. The instructions for all additional attachments were very comprehensive, and I had no problems getting it to work. It contains my knife set, blender, and mixer all in one, and I couldn’t be happier with it
  • I do a lot of cooking, and it took me forever to chop all the ingredients by hand. This food processor is a godsend. It saves me time, it’s easy to use, and it chops everything much better and more evenly than I ever could. I’m just no match for this machine. On top of being very useful and well made, it’s also very stylishly designed, so it looks amazing on my countertop

Negative User Reviews

We’ve heard the PROs, so let’s complete the story with some CONs:

  • I just didn’t think it would be this big. When I got it, I realized it was way too much for my kitchen. It’s pretty useful though, and it looks awesome. I use it and have no other complaints, but be sure to check the size before ordering
  • It took me some time to set it up. I’m not tech-savvy at all, and it takes me a bunch of time to get something to work properly once I buy it. After a while of fiddling around with it, I finally got all the pieces together, and I’m really happy with it
  • The bowl cracked after just a few uses.

My Review

It is my sincere estimate that you can find a better food processor for the price.

Cuisinart Elite Collection FP-12BK Food Processor – A Detailed Review

I used to work in quality assurance with one of the bigger players in the industry, I can definitely see right through all the courses of fancy food with names you can’t even pronounce and tell what appliances they’ve used.

They had a sidekick, and I’m here to help you choose yours, or at least get you a step closer to finding the perfect kitchen helper.

Cuisinart Elite Collection FP-12BK Review

What’s in this review

  1. We’ll list all of the product specifications as issued by the company
  2. We’ll go through a collection of positive and negative end-user reviews
  3. We’ll give our final grade to this product and try to figure out if it suits your needs or not

Product Specifications:

  • 1000-watt powerful motor
  • 2-cup work bowl and a smaller 4-cup work bowl included
  • Dough blade, stainless-steel slicing disc, chopping and mixing blades, shredding disc are all included
  • Dishwasher-safe parts
  • Spatula, a recipe book, and a how-to DVD are included
  • Built to fit Electrical Standards of North America

Let’s not get wooed by all the things we’ve seen so far:

Some User Reviews first:

  • What an outstanding machine. I don’t think I’ve had a better cooking experience than after I got my Cuisinart.
  • The thing I like the best about it is the fact that it replaces a small and a large food processor because it has two work bowls of different capacities, so you can use the same food processor to cook just for two or 6 people.
  • It handles everything that you throw in it with ease, and you can tell just after a few uses that it’s a high-quality product made to last. I can see myself using it for at least 5, maybe even 10 years if I’m careful.
  • The instruction DVD is actually worth watching, and it contains about 15 recipes that showcase this food processor and gives good ideas for how to use the product. It gives you great cooking tips too.
  • It helps me out with almost everything I do around the kitchen these days…
  • This food processor was one of the best investments I’ve made this year since I use it practically every day. It has already paid off its worth in all the time it saved me on cutting by hand and pre-cutting.
  • This baby is really quiet because it has such a powerful motor. I’m very impressed with the consistent results.
  • It’s is really easy to operate, and the lid comes off with a small push of two buttons and installs when you simply press it onto the work bowl.
  • It arrived two days after I ordered it, and I immediately put it to work. First I watched the DVD and got the very same results as the friendly chef from the video…
  • I made mostly bread with it so far, and I was impressed with how well it made the dough and how easy it was to clean it afterward. It’s so user-friendly and easy to store, I love it.
  • I have very limited storing options, and I was impressed with how everything nests into some other part and how little space it actually takes up in our cupboard. It is really quiet at work as well…
  • I am not a professional chef, but I’m a professional carpenter, so I appreciate a good tool. This one is everything I expected it to be at first glance. The brushed metal finish is looking good. The bowls are made out of heavy plastic and feel like they’ll last…

Negative User Reviews:

  • Mine arrived broken in a battered box… this is going back…
  • The cord that is supposed to be stored underneath the food processor got damaged, I’m waiting for a replacement.
  • It’s kind of heavy for me to move it around the kitchen on my own.

My Review

I have to give it to the designers from Cuisinart- the nesting bowls are such a smart solution. That’s definitely a useful feature that will save you a lot of money on buying more than one food processor.

However, as a former Quality Assurance Manager, I have to notice that the storage space for the electric cable was not designed as safely as it could have been.

Breville Sous Chef Food Processor Review

Why Breville Sous Chef Food Processor Is A Big Helper In The Kitchen – Full Review

It’s more difficult now than it ever was.

Why?

Primarily because of bad outsourcing practices used by certain companies.

I was a Quality Assurance Manager in one of the bigger brands in home appliances, and I know my stuff, you can bet on it. That’s why I make it a rule of thumb to:

  1. Only review products made in the US, Canada, or Western Europe
  2. Only review products that I know are outsourced to locations that will maintain the quality of the products

So, let’s dig right into the review of this Breville, one of the best food processors on the market today.

Breville Sous Chef Food Processor Review

Here’s what we’ll do in the review:

  1. Take a look at the product specifications
  2. Take a look at customer reviews, both positive and negative ones
  3. Give it an overall quality rating in my review summary

Specifications:

  • Out of the box, it includes 5 multifunctional discs and 3 blades
  • No more pre-cutting the fruits and veggies because of the super-wide feed tube (5.5″)
  • 2 bowls (16 cups and 2.5 cup mini bowl)
  • LCD screen with a count-up and count-down timer
  • color choices
  • can be stored both horizontally and vertically
  • Built by North American standards

Positive Customer Reviews

  • I’m a chef and I am very strict with my kitchen equipment but I love this processor so much that I am starting to hate it…
  • amazed at the power of the engine…
  • A real eye-candy, I get compliments on it left and right from my guests…
  • Fits perfectly under the kitchen pieces. I got the Cranberry Red, and it looks amazing…for me, worth every dime…
  • No hole at the bottom like my in my previous Kitchen Aid, which would always drip if you fill it too much, the container is marked like a measuring cup…everything about this product seems bigger, stronger, faster, better…
  • I was shopping around and researching for a food processor upgrade for months before I decided to go with this Breville…no regrets so far…
  • great customer service – when I dropped the small bowl and chipped it they sent me a new one for free within 3 days…
  • everything that my old processor wasn’t…
  • quiet and so easy to use…
  • Finally decided to pamper me and get a really good processor. What the heck, if my husband can spend thousands on aluminum whatever for his car, I can spend a couple of hundred on something that seems like it will last me a lifetime…
  • It literally makes my life easier…
  • chopping takes seconds…
  • It cuts the preparation time of some of my meals in half…
  • I had my doubts but all things considered, now that I have this processor, it seems like a bargain…
  • The machine makes chopping salads almost too easy…
  • If this food processor cost twice as much it would still be worth every penny, compared to the junk I used to have…
  • I am trying to find flaws but I think it was impossible getting a better machine…
  • I would recommend this machine to anybody anytime, it made my days in the kitchen fun…
  • It was a mess with my previous Cuisinart, especially getting the lid just in place so that it would work. This Breville is slick, fast, and easy to use…great value for money…
  • I am writing this review after 6 months of use and I’ll try to be unbiased. Amazing adjustable slicing blade – so no more mandolin for me, versatile with the attachments, so far seems sturdy and strong…and I cannot even begin to explain all the ways it’s better than my old processor…
  • A major, really major upgrade from my old food processor…anything that I’ll ever need from a food processor…
  • Even if this Breville dies at some point, I am getting the same one if they are still on the market by then…
  • Just beautiful, amazing workmanship…

Negative Reviews

  • the small bowl is not that useful…
  • pretty heavy and big…
  • my machine was getting stuck all the time, so I sent it back…waiting for the replacement…
  • I bake a lot and I expected it to be better with the dough…

My Reviews

One of the best home food processors on the market, in my book at least. I’ve seen it action, and it’s almost too powerful and fast for its own good.

It is big and a bit on the heavier side, but that’s to be expected from a product that packs so much “heath”. Versatile, even more so than you might’ve thought after seeing the specifications because you can adjust how thick (thin) the slicer works (24 settings for one disc).

Very smart design.

The tube is wide enough for you to forget pre-cutting. A huge relief.

Professional quality in your kitchen. Overall Quality Rating of 4.8 stars.

It’s good to see someone still standing behind the quality of their products.

Cuisinart DLC-10S Pro Classic Review – Features, Pros, Cons & Ratings

So, what to do?

As an ex Quality Assurance Manager of 10 years in a factory of small appliances, I can say that I’ve developed somewhat of a sixth sense when it comes to choosing the best high-quality products at a reasonable price.

More importantly, I would be more than delighted to contribute to your search.

Cuisinart DLC-10S Pro Classic Review

Let me break this review down for you:

  • Also comes with small and large pushers, spatula, compact flat cover, recipe book, How-to DVD, and detachable disc stem

  • Parts can be washed in the dishwasher
  • Feed tube fits whole fruits and vegetables; no pre-cutting
  • Knead bread dough with extreme ease
  • User-friendly and easy to clean
  • 5-year full motor warranty, 3-year limited warranty on the entire unit

Positive Customer Reviews:

  • You literally cannot know how much you needed a food processor before you get one… And this is the very best I’ve had so far.
  • Now I can grate 1lb of cheese in 5 seconds (completely), chop celery, onions, bell peppers, and anything else evenly and neatly… Sometimes it works so well that I think that it has a mind of its own…
  • I now rely on it more and more to save time. I make healthier soups, salads, and snacks to take to work. It takes me minutes, storing and cleaning included.
  • After witnessing what it can do at my friend’s house, I bought myself one of these for Christmas.. for myself. I couldn’t be happier with the results I’m getting.
  • I thought that this is going to be one of those kitchen appliances you buy on a whim, use once or twice, and then forget all about it while it collects dust in one of your cabinets. I was so wrong. This thing is so easy to use and so practical; I can’t even begin to tell you how happy I am with it.
  • It works wonders on ingredients for sauces, pesto, hummus, tapenade. It has such a powerful motor that it easily deals with harder foods like cheese, nuts.
  • The instructional DVD was really helpful and well presented, even though you don’t need any help with this Cuisinart. It’s super easy to use.
  • Now I can make really complex dishes with minimum effort, and doing the dishes afterward has become a breeze.
  • It’s versatile, easy to clean and use. It arrived on time, and we haven’t had any complaints so far. We’ve been using it for 2 years now.
  • This food processor never failed me, even when it came to working hardest foods. It’s super powerful, yet so quiet when on.
  • This is my very first food processor ever, and after watching the DVD instructions, I tried out my luck with many recipes I wouldn’t dare try in the past. My family is really happy because they now get at least one decent home-cooked meal a day.
  • It works great on everything we’ve tried out so far, and we’ve been more prone to explore new recipes after we got this Cuisinart. It simply saves us so much trouble and time in the kitchen.

Negative User Reviews:

  • I wish it weren’t white but some other color. It’s easy to tell when it’s dirty, and sometimes I don’t like doing the dishes right away…
  • More color options would be a nice plus…
  • The DLC-10s Cuisinart comes only in white which is kind of a drag for me…
  • Unless you plan to make food for more than two people, get a smaller size. I didn’t realize how big the bowl is until it arrived.
  • It takes a bit too much kitchen counter space for my taste…
  • I sometimes feel that all of the attachments and improvements aren’t essential, but just waste my valuable kitchen space.
  • This was a really great food processor for a few years, but now the bowl has started to crack.

My Review

This Cuisinart seems like the real deal and it is one of the best food processors out there, of the size, is good enough for you. But let’s take a step back. Despite the fact it’s really popular, that doesn’t always mean that you’re dealing with a high-quality product. Let’s recap what we’ve learned here today before we jump to any conclusions.

After some time of careful consideration and I can tell you that I employed all of the tactics from my days of working as a Quality Assurance Manager, I’ve reached a decision. Mostly because it’s so sturdy and dependable, of generous capacity, has a powerful motor and yet, it’s really quiet at work.

Overall, this is a great way to invest your money.

Cuisinart DLC-2011CHB Food Processor Review: Is it Worth it?

Lucky for you, I’ve worked as a Quality Assurance Manager in a factory of small appliances for about 10 years, so I can claim that I’m able to tell those two apart.

And by writing this review and implementing all of my experience in the field, I’m going to try and help you decide if this product would suit your needs.

Cuisinart DLC-2011CHB Food Processor Review:

Before we go any further with this review, let me break it down for you how it will all work:

  1. We’ll list all of the product specifications
  2. Then we’ll carefully review both positive and negative end-user experience
  3. We’ll give this product our final grade

Product specifications:

  • Work bowl made of Lexan, shatterproof
  • Dishwasher-safe bowl and parts
  • Automatic adjustment of speed for consistent results and perfect cough density
  • How-to DVD, spatula, instruction, and recipe book are included
  • Supreme feeding tube(one-piece) fits whole fruits and vegetables; no pre-cutting required
  • This product fits the Electrical Standards of North America

Positive User Reviews:

  • I got this Cuisinart as a Christmas gift, and I just can’t believe the difference it makes. It’s the fastest and the best food processor I’ve ever had…
  • There are absolutely no little pieces left in the bowl after processing that I have to pick out by hand, it shreds everything down to the very last bit…
  • It does a wonderful job of chopping any fruit and vegetables for salads, and it also makes a killer salsa and hummus. I couldn’t be happier with it…
  • I’ve made French bread, pizza, and cookie dough in minutes. It’s such a powerful machine…
  • It chops well even the trickiest of food like nuts, seeds, herbs, and cheese. It saves me just so much time and trouble compared to cutting everything by hand.
  • I guess I’m one of those people that were not born with a culinary bone, so I never really tried to cook anything. Before I got this Cuisinart for Christmas. The banana muffin cookie dough was done in a minute, and everyone loved it…
  • The DVD that this food processor came with was so simple and easy to understand, I didn’t know much about anything since this is my very first one…
  • It’s user-friendly and really easy to clean, everything I was looking for in a food processor.
  • Its motor is very powerful and yet quiet at the same time. It also doesn’t move around when it’s on and not filled to the capacity. Such an improvement compared to my last food processor…
  • This is a perfect gift for my loved ones, they all enjoy using it. I love that my whole family now invites me over for dinner all the time…
  • The processor and all the attachments that come with it are so easy to clean. It’s also not too heavy for me to move around on my own, so the storing part is a breeze too…
  • I really can’t imagine cooking without this food processor anymore. It dices, slices, and shreds everything so fast that I can’t believe I used to waste so much time on food preparation…
  • Now I’m more inclined to use fresh, local ingredients after I got this food processor. It deals with a pound of any vegetable or fruit in a matter of seconds. Great buy…
  • It’s a really nice looking and powerful gadget. It performs so well on pretty much anything. It looks sharp and fits perfectly into my kitchen…

Negative User Reviews

  • This food processor is either too powerful, or I just don’t understand how it all works. My old food processor wasn’t as fast, and now I can’t get the cheese shredded how I like it…
  • Every piece was packed separately and tightly into little plastic bags, and it was kind of hard to open them…
  • I don’t like the concept of the pusher and the bowl dynamics. If the pusher doesn’t meet the bowl, it won’t start. It can be a bit difficult to start it with taller vegetables.
  • The spatula that came with the product is oddly shaped and kind of useless to me since it’s made of plastic.

My Review

After reviewing this product, and I can promise you that I’ve used all of my knowledge and skills I’ve acquired over the years, I see no flaws or shortcomings that would be deal-breakers.

It simply is what it says it is- a powerful, well-made machine of high capacity designed with care and comfort of end-users in mind.

Having said all that, this is still a great deal because we all know quality comes with a price.

KitchenAid KFPW760WH Food Processor Review

KitchenAid KFPW760WH Food Processor Review: Is it the Best From KitchenAid?

If you are looking at the customer reviews, this baby might be one of the best choices for your home.

But here is the issue – you might be looking at reviews that became obsolete in the meantime.

Here’s why…

What if the company outsourced the production since the customer review was written?

I worked in the industry for years, I know every trick in the book and even for me, it’s getting increasingly difficult to stay on top of things.

That’s why I came up with a simple system to ensure that only quality products have their place on my website. I stick with these 3 simple rules.

  1. I review products that are made in North America
  2. I review pieces that are made in Western Europe
  3. I remove the products from my website when I learn they are outsourced to a location I know might mess with the quality of a product

That’s how I ensure that the visitors of my website have only high-quality food processors on their screens.

But, enough ramble, let’s dig into this review and see if this KitchenAid lives up to the expectations.

This review will be broken into 3 parts:

  1. We’ll take a look at what the company is saying
  2. We’ll take a look at what the customers have to say – both PROs and CONs
  3. I’ll interpret everything said and give my final verdict on whether I think this processor deserves to be in your kitchen

*when you look at the second rule, you might think: “But wait, she just said that the user review might become obsolete.” Let me remind you that I remove products that I learn are outsourced to fishy locations, so all of the experiences you’ll see here still stand.

So, let’s get straight into it:

KitchenAid KFPW760WH Food Processor Review

Specifications

  • 700 watt strong, 12 cup volume bowl
  • highest quality blade (stainless steel)
  • very quiet (features a sealed housing design)
  • pulse control
  • two feed tubes ( one for the mini bowl with its own blade)
  • A smooth base makes cleaning easy
  • Safe to use in a dish-washer (bowls, blades, discs)
  • 16-1/8 x 8-5/16 x 10-2/5 ” in size
  • full 1-year warranty (complete replacement rights)

So, KitchenAid thinks highly of their product, but it’s only bragging until we see what the end-users are saying – so let’s do that.

The PROs:

  • I bought this in 2011 and it’s still going strong…completely satisfied…
  • I heard they are not making this thing anymore, so I got an extra one that just sits in my closet. I think that says a lot about my experience with this product…
  • It chops everything from hard meat to veggies with ease…
  • I use this for a wide variety of jobs, which made my kitchen life so much easier…
  • Just the right size for 99% of the jobs I need to do…
  • Love how the tube is very wide, I have to pre-cut things only with the long vegetables…
  • Just as advertised…
  • Well beyond my expectations, especially for the price…
  • I don’t know the reason behind KitchenAid discounting this piece every once in a while, but I am waiting for the next discount to get one for my sister…
  • It does everything from shredding cheese to making salsa…if only it could make my bed, too…
  • After six months of using this baby, I can say that it’s a real bargain…
  • Bought this for a friend and she can’t stop talking about it…
  • I owned a processor that cost twice as much (it died a few months ago), so I got this one…I can’t really tell the difference so far…

The CONs:

  • My lid broke and I had to replace it…
  • I had this processor and loved it for over 3.5 years until the motor broke. Now they are saying that it will cost me over 50 bucks to send it back for diagnosis and see if can be repaired…disappointed, judging by the reviews I thought this thing will go on for at least ten years…
  • Not a fan of the design and the colors…

My Review

If America’s Kitchen Test rates something like ‘best’ for years in a row, you can calmly get it without overthinking. I know how thorough these guys are with their reviews.

And if you find a product on my website, you can be sure that the quality hasn’t changed.

With this kind of product, I spend most of my time looking at the negative reviews and see if I can find any deal-breakers. Didn’t find any of those here.

I found what I know are exceptions and simply cases of getting a flawed product. I am basing this on my experience as a Quality Assurance Manager.

This is where the customer services steps in, and I know for a fact that Kitchen Aid is very customer friendly (hail to Brian 🙂 ).

Overall, great value for money and a solid investment.

How to Make Labneh

Labneh is Middle Eastern strained yogurt cheese. You can make it by simply straining yogurt overnight to rid it of whey and turn it into a thick, creamy spread or dip. You can strain it longer to make thicker fresh cheese that’s firm enough to shape into balls, patties or logs and dredge in herbs, nuts and spices of all kinds.

Line a sieve or colander with a few layers of cheesecloth and place it over a bowl.

Stir some sea salt into Greek-style yogurt (1/4 teaspoon per cup, or to taste). Pour the yogurt into the cheesecloth-lined sieve or colander. Gather up the sides of the cheesecloth, twist tightly and tie with string.

Place in the refrigerator 12 to 24 hours. The longer it strains the firmer it will get.

The cheese in the picture was strained for 12 hours.

Drizzle it with olive oil and sumac, sprinkle it with zaatar or top it with fresh fruit and honey. Delicious any way you serve it.
